The Camp Kerry families have been in Maui what will be 48 hours this evening at 10:30pm. They are glowing with excitement and happiness and ever so grateful. It has been a jam packed two days! Yesterday, Wednesday the families had their healing circles with their Counselors and then the afternoon at the beach. It was heart warming to see them all playing in the water in the very large waves, laughing and swimming, made it all worthwhile! The joy on their faces was so apparent.

One of the moms had her first ever massage at the Grand Wailea. She was glowing when she came out and has continued to do so ever since. Last night the parents, Counselors and I attended the amazing Willie K dinner show at Mulligans. Everyone was blown away with Willie K's amazing talents and after the show Willie K graciously spent time with all and was particulary kind speaking to one of the moms (who is 1/8th Hawaiian) and gave her his beautiful lei. Thank you Willie K!

Mark and Elaine (our Maui Nanny extrordinaire) took all the children including ours to Wailea Wednesday and Tommy Bahama's for dinner. One of the teens, exclaimed to Mark that she had never eaten in such a restaurant and felt like she was living the high life! It made Marks evening.

The parents and children are bonding and it is like they have all been life long friends instead of just having met each other. This morning they were up early (2:45 a.m.) to see the sunrise on Haleakala and came back to Wailea to spend the rest of the morning at the beach swimming with turtles while I drove the parents back upcountry to spend the morning touring O'o Farms with Richard and having an incredibly delicous lunch prepared by Chef Jay Jay. Maholo to Richard for the beautiful and informatinve tour. The parents had an amazing time, followed by a quick stop at the Lavender farm.
